Born in New York, Flip Capone spent close to 20 years in Florida before eventually landing in Arizona. That kind of movement leaves a mark on you. Three different states, three different cultures, three different sets of streets. You hear all of it in the music.
New York gave him the lyricism. Florida gave him the grit and the grind. Arizona is where he locked in and built something lasting. The result is a sound that doesn't fit neatly in one box because the man making it never has either.
He pulls from the greats: Eminem's precision, Bone Thugs' melody, KXNG Crooked's wordplay, Pastor Troy's intensity. But what comes out is all his own.
